TIG FONG

Tig Fong is a multi hyphenate that has been involved in film and television for over thirty years; starting as an actor and stunt performer before moving behind the camera to become a stunt coordinator/2nd Unit director and now director.

Tig’s unique approach to directing is informed by their multi-intersectional identities as well as their extensive experience both in front of as well as behind the camera.

Having worked in nearly every genre, Tig is equally comfortable with shooting everything from intimate talking heads, to large scale battle scenes, to working in front of a virtual wall or green screen.

Most recently, Tig has directed four episodes over several seasons on the hit comedy series What We Do In The Shadows - garnering the 2024 DGC award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in a Comedy Series for the finale episode of season five.

With two documentary films and a short in the works, Tig hopes to one day direct their own action feature.
